Yes. The Entry Guard has built-in infra-red night vision with a 65m detection range and 10m identification range in complete darkness. Night vision footage appears in black and white. For longer-range night detection, consider the Entry Guard Thermal which uses heat signatures.

Will I get alerted when someone enters the property?

Yes — the Entry Guard sends instant motion alerts straight to your phone when activity is detected. You can also set the system to filter between vehicle and human detection, helping reduce false alerts from animals or wind-blown grass.

When would I choose the Starlink option over 4G?

The Starlink option is ideal if your entry is in a location with poor or no 4G mobile coverage. Starlink satellite connectivity provides reliable data access from virtually anywhere in Australia — making it the best choice for the most remote properties where cellular coverage doesn't reach.

Does it record all the time or just when motion is detected?
