Can I really control the camera from my phone?

Yes — the Station Manager's PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) camera is fully controllable from your smartphone using the Land Watch app. You can pan, tilt and zoom from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. No special hardware is required — just your phone.

How far away can I actually see detail?

With the Station Manager's optical zoom, you can clearly identify people and animals at 400m during the day, and up to 80m at night using infra-red night vision. You can check a trough or read ear tags at distances most cameras can't touch.

What areas of the property can it cover?

The 360° rotation means a single Station Manager unit can cover your entire surroundings from one mounting point. It's ideal for monitoring sheds, yards, paddocks, water tanks, troughs, and general property access — anywhere you need eyes.

When would I choose the Starlink option over 4G?

The Starlink option is ideal if your property is in a location with poor or no 4G mobile coverage. Starlink satellite connectivity provides reliable data access from virtually anywhere in Australia — making it the best choice for the most remote properties where cellular coverage doesn't reach.

Does it work at night?

Yes. The Station Manager has built-in infra-red night vision extending to 100m. Night vision footage appears in black and white. For even longer-range night detection, consider the Entry Guard Thermal, which uses thermal imaging to detect heat signatures at up to 1km.
